“The TWINZER+ fin setup is a modern performance take on the classic Twinzer fin design, but with an added twist. A TWINZER+ rear stabilizer trailing fin adds more punch, more power, and even more control to a typical Twin, Twinzer, or Twin+ trailer. Like other Twinzers, the forward canard fins extend the base, claw into the wave face, and apply more pressure to the bottom of the board. Because of this, a more upright, narrower-base, lower-area twin is used. We love the current crop of “circumcised,” snip-tip twins currently on the market and created a template based on this fast-reacting tip. To make things flow, the forward canards feature the same tip template and a trailing edge that parallels the leading edge of the main twin, creating a complementary flow.

The rear trailer, which specifically uses the same Futures mini box as the canards, also features a similar and forgiving tip template that releases with ease when asked. The TWINZER+ is a sleek, sexy, and thoroughly modern take on a decades-old design that has been bubbling up and growing from the underground with good reason. Using a combination of the Futures ILT and their new Twinzer box, we’ve created the strongest fin-to-board connection — all while keeping the tail light and balanced.”
